Version 0.93b introduces a revised layout arrangement for the main window. The idea behind the new layout was to improve the use of space in the main window, while allowing more flexible configuration options.

The most obvious change is that the rotary dial controls for Warp, Reverb, and Mix, plus the Tone slider trio and the 'Inspector' buttons have been moved off the main toolbar, and into their own (hide-able) sub-panel within the main window, located above the Transport view, underneath the Lists view.

Tools Sub-panel

Each sub-panel above the Transport view can be hidden or revealed, allowing the main window to be configured in a variety of ways. The display configuration is controlled by the four grouped 'Display' buttons on the toolbar, with each button controlling the display of one of the Sources, Visual, Lists or Tools sub-views.

Display Buttons

When a Display button is 'down', it's associated sub-panel in the Display area is visible; when a Display button is 'up' it's associated sub-panel is collapsed and hidden. This allows for a variety of configurations for the main window:

Main Window Layout

If either the Lists or Visual sub-panels is maximised vertically, clicking on it's associated display button (ie to 'hide' that panel) forces the whole display area to 'collapse' vertically, leaving the window in the Mini-Player layout; in this collapsed form, none of the Display sub-panels are visible, so each button displays it's 'up' icon.

Clicking on any of the display buttons while the window is in mini-mode causes the window to expand open again to reveal the chosen sub-panel.
