It seems there was a regression on this in .96 (unless I didn't check .95, which is entirely possible).
When navigating the playlist, and pressing Enter, the system notification beep sounds. My workaround is to turn off the volume on system notifications.
Just wanted to make sure this was still in the cross-hairs if it's still a known bug.

We thought this bug was solved, but it turns out that the 'beep' is still triggered if the space-bar is used without first selecting a track manually in a playlist after launching the app. Once input-focus has been set by clicking with the mouse on a playlist item, future use of the space-bar no-longer produces a beep.
We will of course look further into this issue and aim to resolve it fully before we launch the 'release' version of AudioCodex.

Ok, I need to explain this some more.
I am using AudioCodex in a church service where there are various hymns and liturgy pieces, each as separate MP3 files.
In my scenario, I have no tracks selected in the playlist. This is because I want only one track to play and then stop. I also want to use only the keyboard to navigate and trigger the tracks.
If I use the spacebar, it actually checkmarks that track, and plays only that track. It does not allow me to navigate to a specific track, hit space, and then play THAT track.
I believe that space is doing exactly what it should - checkmarking tracks. However, I don't want to mark them, but play them without automatically playing the next track.
Therefore "Enter" is the key that I need to use, and that, again, makes sense. So it's really the Enter key that is triggering the sound in my case.

Sorry, my bad... I should have read your post a bit more closely. You are correct, the Return / Enter key is currently causing the system beep again... most odd, I will investigate the issue again and see what is going on... it will of course be fixable and should be resolved once and for all in the next release. If I solve it in the interim I will post an updated version of the app.
