For an app like AudioCodex, that relies so heavily on system frameworks like CoreAudio, Quartz Composer etc, Leopard (OSX 10.5) is something of a watershed.

Many cool new things can be done in Leopard that would be difficult to reproduce in Tiger; we would love to get straight to work on a Leopard-only version, but we would like to get an idea of where our user-base is at regarding uptake of Leopard as their primary Mac OS version.
What is your response to new developments on the Apple side of the fence?
Hey Soundman,

Well, now there's a question. I could write a whole blog post on that question. Honestly? I think the iPhone is very exciting, the birth of a new computing platform, except of course it's not really new, it's just NeXTSTEP, reincarnated yet again, in the palm of everyone's hands. I think the Mac is still important to Apple, but the iPhone reveals where they, and we, are heading.
