Hi,
AudioCodex can indeed work with GarageBand, as either a sound source or a sound destination.
I'm putting together a more comprehensive guide, but for now, if you have GarageBand 3 or later, there is a menu item under Help -> Advanced - > Link to GarageBand, which will attempt to open GarageBand with a document that is preconfigured to use an AUNetReceive unit as a software instrument generator.
You will need to configure the AUNetReceive in GarageBand to connect to your copy of AudioCodex, which will be named "<username>'s Head" by default. You can set this name to anything you like in AudioCodex on the Inspector's 'Share' tab under 'NetSend'. You can also set the audio stream format.
Once both apps are set-up, start playing a track in AudioCodex, turn the volume down in AC and switch to GarageBand... you should now be able to control the stream volume from within GarageBand.
More details can be found in a new Tip which I'll be adding to the Tips & Tricks area within the next few hours, but hopefully the above will be enough to get you started.
Cheers,
Mark Hill
