AudioCodex has been updated to version 1.1. The new version provides a bunch of exciting new features including:

- Processing of all enabled effects when exporting from CoreAudio sources
- Audio Output Device selection for CoreAudio playback
- Master Volume control, plus support for saving & restoring volume & pan settings per-track
- Group properties editor for AudioCodex playlists
- Visualizer Groups in the source-list, and some new built-in visualizer modules
- Visualizer presets support, allowing users to save & restore named settings for visualizers

As well as new & improved features, we managed to squash several long-standing, intermittently manifesting bugs that could lead to playlist and loop-marker corruption; these bugs should now be permanently eliminated. Full details of all changes and bugfixes in AudioCodex 1.1 are available in the release notes.

To coincide with the new release we have revised and updated the online manual, which is now also available for download as a printable PDF document.

AudioCodex 1.1 is a recommended update for all users, and is available for immediate download from:

Some users running Tiger have reported issues with the new version failing to show the main window after launch.

This is a classic symptom of a 'corrupted Preferences file', and the easiest fix is to quit AudioCodex, locate and delete the corrupted file and relaunch, as described in this post on our Forum: Deleting the Preferences File.

As of version 1.1 there is another way to fix this problem, if you launch AC and the main window fails to appear, try going to the Help Menu, look for Advanced > Reset Preferences. Clicking this will present you with an alert warning you that AC will quit & relaunch when you click 'OK'. Do so, and AC should now be able to fix itself and again run normally.
