Hello everyone at MC -

just installed the demo, looking very much forward to taking it through its paces. For some time now, I've been on the lookout for a non-timeline-based way of meddling with audio, using a bunch of rather simple applications with not too big an overhead of bells and whistles, but with tight integration into the general OS-look-and-feel. And MCodex might be the very app to almost perfectly complement my little set, currently mainly consisting of WireTap Studio for recording & simple editing, DJay for playback/mixing, an occasional Soundflower thrown in for good measure, and, of course, an Audio Unit or another. Particular after having reached a certain age (50!), I found I had to make a strong division between what I have a chance to actually do (fiddle with the aforementioned) as opposed to what I *might* do, but never ever get around to (running Bidule as a Plugin for Numerology while feeding GleetchLab into GarageBand or whatever).

So - here goes. After work I'll get to work ...

Best wishes from Frankfurt, Germany - Niko

P.S.: What about having effects not only chained one after another, but being able to feed some in parallel? Different delays, each with its own EQ? Mmmmmmm ...
Hey Niko,

We hope you find the trial satisfying!

Mantis and I really enjoyed reading your comment, it seems to us that you appreciate the same things that we do in an audio app.

Your idea for parallel audio graphs is very interesting. Mantis and I have discussed similar ideas previously, and agree it would be a fantastic feature. Designing an interface for such a thing would be a challenge, however. We envisage something like the spaghetti view in Quartz Composer. Perhaps in version 1.5.

If you have any other suggestions or feature request, please let us know.

Cheers,
OK, The Deed is done - thought I'd never get around to it.

Best wishes - Niko
