In 1.4 and 1.41, when in a playlist with no tracks checked, any track that is played will play in a continuous loop. This happens no matter what loop mode is selected.

In 1.3, if no tracks were selected, and a track was played, only that track was played, and it was played only once. This is the behavior I would expect in 1.4. As it is, 1.4 is useless for live performances, because there is no longer a way to play a single track in a playlist just once.

I reset my preferences, but this didn't help. For now, I have reverted to 1.3.

Oops, my bad... over the past month I've been doing some work in the area of the code controlling auto-track selection, and I neglected to test against that specific scenario. I will remedy this ASAP and restore the previous behaviour. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll email you once I have a patched version available.
