FLAC Components for Core Audio

Introduction

The Free Lossless Audio Codec is a popular open source format for audio files, which is free of DRM restrictions and also free as in beer.

To enable AudioCodex to play back FLAC files in Core Audio mode, you will need to download and install both the packages below to enable FLAC support on your Mac, then restart AudioCodex.

Note: These components have not been extensively tested, however they have been found to work on all the systems we have tested on, PowerPC and Intel, Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above, including Leopard.

AudioCodex 1.50 adds support for FLAC playback.
